Stately Magazine

Becoming the resident stylist for Stately Magazine has been incredibly rewarding and entirely serendipitous. Take me back 3 years, sipping coffee, scrolling Facebook, feeling nostalgic at my home in Kelowna, and yearning for some good British humour… of course, I was feeling homesick and missing my birth country of Wales. I came across an expat page for Brits living in Canada and I joined.

Long story short, after a few comments, a couple of dm’s, and some good old British banter, I met a Welsh lady named Emma, who, as it turns out, was born just a few miles away from my hometown. Emma moved to Canada one year prior. We hit it off straight away, with children the same age, and husbands working in the same industry. We instantly became friends.

After chatting for a while at length about what we did for a living, I sent across my portfolio and Emma asked to feature me in the inaugural edition of Stately Magazine. Never in a million years did I think I would be in a magazine. The feature was so well-received. Lots of clients reached out to ask for consultations both locally and internationally. Stately was pleased with the reaction to the feature and I was asked to come on board as the resident international Stylist.

Here are the articles. I hope you love reading them as much as I loved writing them.
